 What happens when you take some imagination, a dash of theater, and a huge helping of action and mix them together? You get Live Action Role Playing (LARP), which is essentially a grown up version of make-believe. Larp'ing has experienced an explosion in popularity of sorts, perhaps brought about by recent tv shows and news articles, but at the base of it, it's all about folks just having fun. We enjoy the action as well and have some excellent LARP swords and shields to help equip you for this up and coming activity. "But wait a minute, aren't we simply talking about reenactments? Why the distinction?", you might ask. It's true, many people prefer to call this form of Live Action Role Playing just reenactments; however, reenactments tend to focus more on historical battles or a specifc time period using more realistic hard weaponry whereas Larping is generally more about the fantasy world using LARP swords and other arms made from foam or other relatively soft materials. Ranging from simple battles with no structure to full-blown fantasy events, complete with real establishments, NPC's (non-playing characters), and game masters. Larping allows everyone to escape from reality, picking up some LARP swords and hiting the battlefield without fearing too much real bloodshed while attempting to facedown their foes.
